Nikon has completed the development of an Elements macro for control of SPECTRA light engines. The macro is designed to control intensity via the RS-232 port and the color enables via the TTL port using the parallel port on a PC. If the user’s PC does not have a parallel port then Nikon is recommending an inexpensive plug-in that has both a serial and a parallel port. The macro will be available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions and will only be distributed through Nikon. The Nikon distributor/reseller who is providing you with Elements support can provide you with macro installation help.
