MetaMorph Software

MetaMorph ® software can be used to control a Lumencor light engine using either serial or parallel connections. Follow the directions below to install the MetaMorph driver for AURA which supports both AURA and SPECTRA.

  1. Before installing, verify that you have the 32-bit version of MetaMorph (Premier, Basic with the Illumination Option, or Fluor) 7.6.0 or higher installed. If you are unsure of the version or how to update it, you should contact MetaMorph.
  2. Go to ftp://ftp.meta.moleculardevices.com/support/ver76/mm765x-32/uic_d_Lumencor.dll to download the .dll file for the Lumencor light engine.
  3. Copy the “uic_d_Lumencor.dll” file just downloaded into your c:\mm directory.
  4. Go into the Meta Imaging Series Administrator program and install & configure the Lumencor Light Engine driver as normal, choosing the appropriate model (e.g. 7-Color Light Engine) as necessary. If you are not sure how to use the Meta Imaging Series Administrator app, you should contact your local reseller.
